Written Test - How did you know?

I don't post much on here, so take what I say with a grain of salt, but I felt compelled to reply to this thread.

I used the Gleim online course and "accidentally" scored %100 on the written. I mean, think about it. They give you all the answers. How could you not study your a** off, AND learn the material, AND be given all the answers and not pass? If you take the practice exams through any of the reputable sources (King/Sportys/American Flyers/Gleim, etc) and score in the high 80's-90's...you are ready. Your CFI has to sign you off so he/she will know if you are ready as well.

Take two random sample tests, 60 current questions. If you make an 80 or better on both you're ready. Although I am an advocate of trying to get the best score you possibly can. With that in mind, I'd recommend that you study until you can pass a practice test with 90 or better.

This, at 85% or better 2 or 3 times in a row.

And beware, it is easy to over prepare and then not do well.
