Would you like to take a menu with you? (semi rant)

I'm not wondering why she offered you a menu, she was probably told by someone higher on the food chain, hahaha, that's a pun, to give them away.

1. I wonder why someone with your superior intelligence and intellect did not pick up on that?

2. I wondering why it is so hard to just say, "no thank you", and get back to riding your bicycle in your spandex bicycle suit without giving in another thought?

3. I wonder why you would be so haunted by it to the extent that you go on an internet forum and start a semi rant over it?

Nice pun.

1. You might be confusing me with another recently joined POA member. I am not an aspiring Jet Pilot with towering stature.

2. Actually it was quite easy to say "no thank you", what was agonizing was the potential for missed oppunity.

3. Because I couldn't get it published in the New York Times. At least not in time to still keep it fresh in my mind.

No such thing as a flat road around here, 16 to 17 is my avg solo, 18 to 19 in a group. I'm 195 right now, would like to be 180 - 185. Sidelined by a meniscus repair right now.

I typically carry my food with me on rides in liquid form, about 200 cals per hour, 50 miles is a typical ride. I miss it now and winter is coming.

I don't carry food with me unless time counts, or I'm going on a very long ride with no food stops. The only exception is that I will tote a bottle of Gatoraide which I usually reserve for the last third of the ride. My routes are a mix of flats and mountains. A typical ride will be about 60 miles but I've been doing 80's pretty consistently. I'll probably tone it down in Winter since I'll get later starts.

Very strange rant. Meds?

In the scheme of things, I've seen worse.

Which of the two spandex pictures was Sac?

Choose wisely grasshopper!!

UPDATE:

Sadly, I didn't get offered a menu today. But there was a different shift of burger girls. I thought about asking for the menu but that might come off as desperate.

We took a bunch of the kids from the neighborhood to Twisty Treat with our grand kids one day last week. After the ten of them got their ice cream, the "manager" gave me stack of their menus and said, "Please take these and loose them where ever you go."

I'm with the cooks:

Jay? Is that you?

I figured this would be as good of a place as any to post this. This is a most righteous burger from the Korean place. Mustard and Sriracha sauce on top. Lettuce is a bit sloppy yes but quite good regardless.

The idea that any woman, anywhere has ever hit on a man in a biker spandex omnitard is lulzworthy, even if you had the pearl izumi optional crotchloaf banana hammock washable comfort diaper / chode-guard. (on Amazon with Prime for $119.99, free 2-day shipping included!)

In my case it doesn't result in a decrease of probability, so.....
