Wings of Hope

If you missed it, I wanted to call out that the Wings of Hope Raffle has started. The airplane this time is nice - Cherokee 180, zero time engine, dual G5s and a GTN 650.

I don’t expect tickets will last nearly as long as they did last time. In 24 hours they sold 2500 tickets, so as of about 14 hours ago half the tickets were sold.

I'm personally less interested in the piper,
and no autopilot.... so I was going to skip this round
but hey, it looks like a nice one and I'd be happy to have any plane that's not a money pit (well, that's relative, I know...but still)
+ seems like a decent cause and it's probably just a donation anyway
so I bought my tickets.

I need to raffle off my plane! I guess I've never done the math.

5000 tickets will be sold. $100 each would be $500K. Even at the lowest cost of $275 for 3, the least they would make is $458K!

I know it's a good cause and good for them, not knocking it.

I got my three. I've lost count of how many of these I've entered. I haven't won anything yet, but it is a good cause.
