If it offered ADS-B (In) as well then it would be the same as the BOM

The next version will be the heated version, there will be a wing mounted blowtorch pointed at it with a propane bottle in the back of the airplane.

The WingBug uses a true pitot static system in lieu of a hole to acquire actual airspeed instead of GPS ground speed as all other devices and apps currently do. It was actually the first of its type on the market with nearly 4 years of R&D and the only true pitot static ADAHRS patent.

Oh and the WingBug also offers AOA, Side Slip, and ADS-B In as well as a six pack glass cockpit display.

No plans for blow torches. Just a strong recommendation to avoid icing conditions. Though we feel our pitot tube design will make that likelihood less than a non heated built in aircraft pitot.
