Will an Avidyne IFD 540/550 drive a Garmin GNC 500 autopilot?

What the title asks-
Will an Avidyne IFD 540/550 drive a Garmin GNC 500 autopilot? I'd like to replace a Garmin 530W when I do my autopilot upgrade.

I did some searching but couldn't find a clear answer.

The Avidyne IFD is completely compatible with the G5, which drives the GFC500. In short, yes it will.
