I never fly aircraft that I don't have confidence in. It's a matter of self preservation. However, the only time that I've ever run out of running engines in flight was in an airplane that I know was well maintained and only had 200 hours SMOH on the engine. Once again STUFF happens.

I"'ve also flown over remote areas of country and off shore. No matter what aircraft you fly or where, you should be prepared to take care of yourself.
