Who uses FIOS TV? or Netflix

Not exactly.

You also have to have your $1500 computer to create your customer account and set your preferences for favorite toppings on the Domino's web site first.

I wuz wrong.

 I just a Domino's ad on my TiVo and clicked.

They updated the system so you can register right from the TiVo. I did. With the continually amazing TiVo remote I quickly entered my full name, address and phone number.

You pick your nearest location and can order for delivery or pickup.

It told me it regretted that my local Domino's isn't open at 9:00AM. :D

You also don't have to set your order prefernces. You order whatever you want using the the TiVo remote and UI and the server remembers.

I still have no intentions of ordering. I'm not likely to ever be that desparate.

Well you really should try good pizza. First NYC?? CRAP! Sicily?? double Crap!! Good pizaa comes form Chicago, like hot dogs Chicago knows what is best. For real Italian pizza, Naples! That is where pizza was invented.

The only thing the Sicilians invented was the mafia

:D:D:D
DUH!

I meant Naples- that city you visit and catch the boat to Capri, or go inland to visit Pompeii- the place on the map below-

The pizza in Naples tasted like I remember having as a kid in NYC. The Ciicago "pizza"- It tastes good, but it's not real pizza. I'ts more of a cheese pie with tomato sauce, vegetables and meat thrown in.

I don't know why I wrote Sicily- I've never been there!

FIOS is installed!

I know I will be tarred and feathered here, but in the end, laziness trumped. I got their FIOS DVR and I have to say, it's a marked improvement over the DISH DVR and I tolerated that pretty well for 5 yrs.

Better yet, when I called DISH last week they told me that they aren't going to take back the current DVR - so I madly started taping movies to fill up the 40 hours that were blank. I have 40 movies now and random Daily Shows and travel programs.

I've had netflix for a year or so and I LOVE it!! I'm like you - I'm only in it for the movies. Shoot, I don't even have basic cable - or a roof antenna - just one of those little in-home antennae that I have to pull out and set up if ever I do watch tv. Maybe 5 times a year. I'm in it for the movies. Netflix is great.

Streaming Netflix works great. If you have any Netflix plan from $8.99/month up, you also get free streaming and it works great. They have around 12,000 titles available (including a growing library of HD).

For $99 you get a Roku device streaming device that is simple to setup and simple to use and you have movies on demand on your HDTV for no extra cost above your normal Netflix subscription. Several models of DVD players now include the streaming so you don't even have to get the Roku box if you have one of those. I've heard a couple of TV models are about to be released with it built in.

Mailing the DVD's in will be as old-fashioned as VHS before long.

I'm liking the cable TV series, but you can view full episodes on the web.

A PC hookup could carry it far, except you may want the news so you know once in a while if the country is on fire.

I think streaming will be old tech, too. What will survive is downloading to a NAS on the home network so the media can be enjoyed anywhere on any device. I was a few clicks away from adding two 1.5TB hard drives to my inventory when NewEgg emptied out my shopping cart. Darn, pre-purchase dissonance. actually I thought it was a 1.5TB and a 3TB but I was wrong. The big one was 2GB and I glad I finally noticed. It wasn't cost effective at $299 :yikes: I'll have 4 x1.5(or larger)TB in a RAID (up to 4.5 or 6TB) eventually. )

Once again, Tivo does stream Netflix.
