Who knows anything about ticks?

I probably should be checked at some point. I've had countless ticks draw blood from me over the years and I've never been to the doctor over any of it.

Ah, understand! Yes, he must write his columns several months before they go to press. He put it up for sale in March on CFO.

OT: I was checked for Lyme when I had a suspicious rash a couple of years ago. I do enough hiking that if there's any in SE Michigan I'm sure to have been at least crawled on by an infected tick at some point. But the test was negative. Whew.
 
The columns are published 60-90 days in arrears, so that makes sense time-wise. What did you decide to do about the windshield distortion? I had concluded that the most logical options were to either replace it or just change the prescription in your glasses to match the distortion. :D

and... now I'm sick. Not to get paranoid.

I woke up with a stuffy nose that has progressed over the course of the day. Splitting headache that two extra strength tylenols haven't alleviated and shortness of breath (which is scarier). I feel like something is resting on my chest.
 
we live in a heavily tick-infested area - no big deal, but we have to be careful checking things out. Showers after woods walks, etc. They take 6-8 hours to attach and 12 hours to transmit. What's spooky is stepping into a tick nest... :eek: You can get hundreds of baby ticks about 1/4 the size of this period. And they bite, in a damn sight quicker than 8 hours! :mad:
