Let's see, the average nfl game lasts for over three hours and fifteen minutes.
There are 4 quarters of 15:00 for a grand total of 60 minutes. During that hour, there is only around 12 minutes of actual football being played. That leaves three hours and three minutes during the average game of commercials, huddles, replays, penalty calls, penalty challenges, play challenges and useless time wasting. If you need to find more time that that to get a beer, you need to live closer to the fridge!

I only got into one pool this year. I'm hoping for a score of NE 12, ATL 6 at the end of the first qtr., and no more scoring... then the wife and I are going on a nice cruise.

You need some more options. Since that's been the lead off story in the local news (re Boston), OVER is what I really want. Even the shooting at a local mall got second fiddle. The last local news broadcast spent 10 minutes on this to the exclusion of other happenings in the area.
I am heading to a party this after but it's the food, drink, and social time I'm in for. The game, not so much. The Pats are preferred but really, it's a kids game played by overpaid adults, in stadiums we the Tax payers built, and we will continue to subsidize for years to come.
Besides, New England fans are poor losers and even worse winners. They can neither accept defeat nor victory gracefully.

Called it! What a comeback. Awesome game. Really thought Falcons would hold on for the win. Except for this guy named Brady. Wow!
 
One of the best SB's in awhile! ATL put up a great defense, but threw it away. Great game

Just as in aviation, total time and time in type count. Brady's been there before (SB) a few times...and it showed.
 
Near the end of the 3rd quarter, ATL up by 25. 25! Pats played a lot better in the 2nd half. Brady was getting sacked and killed the first half. Look at the protection his linemen were giving him. Like most QBs, you give them time in the pocket they will pick you off. Brady is so accurate and throws a beautiful fast ball. Like most games involving top teams, you make adjustments and hopefully come up with some answers and solutions during halftime. The Patriots did that, Falcons did not. Falcons had a 25 point lead deep into the 3rd quarter. 25 point lead. Blew it, they really did.
 
I'll be the one to say it then. The patriots cheated......................the Falcons out of a win.
