Ok. what happens if you hit the PTT w/ the antenna off?
This is important because had I removed an antenna, I would have totally pushed it while checking the radio.

You might not have any more kids.....due to certain damage. If the RF wattage is high enough.

But seriously, there is a small kit you can probably get at Lowe's or Home Depot that lets you inject a tone through any cable and trace it to the other end. Similar to a telephone line tracer thingy.

Put your tongue on one antenna and have a buddy key a radio. If your tongue isn't blistered have him key the other radio.
