The wife and I do several long trips a year as well.
We've done Sedona, Catalina, Napa area a couple of times. Have also done the New England states several times in the late September/early October....two weeks of leaf peeping and hopping along the east coast. Thinking of maybe doing that again this fall.
Cessna 182 out of Sugar Land.....about three hour legs max....couple of legs/day if we're traveling.
