Where can I get those things that go on the frames of your sunglasses to keep the frame from digging into your temple and what are they called ?

They are called better sunglasses, and can be found at most shopping malls.
 
I'm looking for these to put on my Clarity Aloft headset as well...

glasses in question are Serengeti that were an XMAS gift, not such a bad brand last I knew :dunno: :wink2:
 
thanks Jack but not what I was looking for. I will try to describe best I can.

Looks like a rectangular piece of plastic(?) with two slits in it that slide over the temple tips. So instead of the metal frame of the glasses pressing against your skin the load is distributed over square inches of whatever this product is.

Though Sac was trying to be funny, they do come standard issue on some "aviator" glasses, though since I've set out to find some I've yet to come across an example. My buddy had some on his glasses last tour season, never got around to asking what where when and how....
 
Thanks George, I found those while searching also. I will go ahead and give them a try. Those aren't exactly what I had in mind but I reckon they do the same thing. The ones I remembered were more horizontal than vertical if that makes sense.
 
You can let nature take it's course. I have narrow channels worn into the sides of my head from wearing glasses for the last 45 years.
 
Wonder if you can make your own. Get some sheet foam from your local art & crafts store, cut it to size, and put holes in the correct places. Trim to your desired shape.
 
Honestly, I never knew such animal existed. Learn something new every day. I personally would have chucked them for a more comfortable glasses. Then again I buy the $15 Foster Grants so I can be afforded that luxury.
 
The threads "Where can I get...." and "Slave Labor" were right on top of each other for a while, and in my tired state, I thought someone was asking where they could get slave labor. To save any other poor, tired soul from this misunderstanding, I feel obligated to post something to switch up the order.
