Last time I checked the light was working but it was not rotating, not sure if it’s a wire or what.

Only an aircraft restorer looking to take an old airplane back to authentic factory-original look would want that. Someone might buy it if they saw it on eBay or facebook or something like that. If it doesn't rotate, the motor might be shot.
People were replacing those with xenon strobes in the 1970s already, and now it's LEDs.
