Congrats!!

I just recently had this mental battle with the Cirrus Vs Mooney Ovation in a previous thread. My purchase is still some time away but so far I'm leaning toward the Ovation 2 I just couldn't fight spending over 10k for a parachute repack. Enjoy your bird it's awesome still. Can't wait to see photos!
 
I take it you weren't playing at the $5 black jack tables? With my gambling habits I'd have to play a few hours of good luck to fill er up with 100LL:)

So what options (that you can tell us about) did you get on the cirrus? A/C? TKS?

Got the GTS which comes with all of the options expect for 3.

Added - Air Conditioning, Built-In Oxygen System

Did not add - Hartzell Lightweight Composite Prop

I would just like to stop for a moment and say I blame my procrastination on not doing one of my final papers for school on you lol.
Just looked up on cirrus' website about all the options for the sr22... then that lead me to look at the vision jet.... which lead me to a serious case of SJS. *sigh*
Anyways, congrats on the purchase! Can't wait to see pics/ hear what other options you took or passed on!

Do not have my delivery date yet. The girl that does that had some family emergency but should hear this week. From what I gather, it will be end of March or beginning of April.

I'd still find a way to pick it up in Duluth! One of the best experiences of my life was picking up my bird from the factory where it was made. Having someone fly it to a delivery center somewhere else just wouldn't have the same allure on me.
 
Geez the Cirrus hate is unreal. Congrats to the OP on the purchase - that is extremely exciting. The Cirrus is an incredible aircraft.

Not really, most of it is us lowly C172 pilots just being envious. Unless it's Mulligan, then we give him max shet about it. But he's a tough old bastard and can handle it, usually fires right back. ;):)

Very nice. I'd have an SR22 if I could afford one, they're great airplanes. Instead, I'll have to settle for a cheap (ha!), old piston twin.
 
If I had the money I'd buy a 22. The recurrent training and resources Cirrus gives its pilots is great.
