Is that the same car you had up here? Does it really still run (seems to me it was on borrowed time several years ago)?

Sadly -- I had to put $70 into it today. The ability to turn on the headlights quit. Daytime running lights still worked but were rather scary at night.

To get by -- I discovered that if you turned on teh right blinker, then you could turn on the high beams and turn the right blinker off. This worked for awhile but required the same procedure to turn high beams back off.

I'm sure drivers were rather annoyed by my switching between day-time running lights, high beams, and my right blinker.

Replaced the blinker / headlight / cruise control switch assembly and all is good. Should be set for another 100,000 miles I think.

My favorite part was the four guys in jumpsuits and helmets piling into the car. Definately gives it that clown car feel.

They needed those helmets... every time that sucker corners in that vid, it's desperately trying to swap ends.
