Well, I finally came out of the closet. ;)

Man, I sure wish we had a basement, but only a few times a year. :D

Not long ago, I was looking for a photo and ran across the photo I took of Joe Areeda sitting in my furnace room/closet the night we had several tornado warnings. He tried to help me corral my cats as we were getting in the closets and one of them scratched him. It's always fun to visit the farm. :redface:

It's ready to go when I catch a break from the current list of airplane gigs. It's good to see some activity on the buy side after 18 months of flat-line.

I read about the United flight that hit the turbulence and hurt several people. Then I read that when it happened, it was flying over SW Missouri! Eerie Kind of like the Bermuda Triangle!

I lived there until 18 months ago, for 30 years. And Diana is doing it all wrong. ;)

When tornado warnings come you are supposed to run outside with a beer and watch the storms roll over, preferably from the comfort of a west facing veranda.

I didn't have a veranda in 1983 but I watched the big Springfield tornado roll through from a distance of about 1/2 mile. I was picking up a first date and was at her duplex when it rolled through. We watched it from her front porch. We didn't make it out of her duplex that night...which wasn't all bad! :)
