WGN Sky Dives

Cool. Do you know when it airs? I could not find that info on the site.

Man, this guy's got some kinda Cirrus!

SkyDives FAQ said:
What kind of plane is flown for Sky Dives?
The plane is a Cirrus SR22. It’s a four-passenger plane, weight approximately 2400 pounds fully fueled, so pack light! 385 HP, 6 cylinder engine. Take off speed is a little over 90 MPH and can fly ~1200 miles fully fueled.

How fast does the Sky Dives plane go?
Typically flies between 230-250MPH, depending on the winds. With a really strong tail wind, he has flown the plane up to 320 MPH.

Looks like it is only short vignettes and they edit more than one for each trip. I found two for Louisville on youtube.

I'll take any positive GA press we can get!

Watertown? He's going to regale with stories of Perkins or Culvers?

I don't think we can get that in Chicago ironically. I gotta check.

Don't forget the pilot's discount coupon from the FBO!
:blueplane:

We LOVE Watertown! In addition to Steakfire, the Wisconsin Aviation FBO Rocks! And there's purportedly a really good coffee place around the side of the airport!

Just saw one on WGN during HD presentation of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Hadn't seen it before!

Thanks to Jesse for a good search engine on POA, so I could append to Tristan's post instead of starting a new one.
