and I'm stuck inside all day :(
 
Here in eastern WI it is a balmy and abnormal 81 degrees right now (4:45 p.m.). I had to take the tape off the air vents in the wings today.

Our normal high for March 26th is 44 degrees.

1.8 hours flying this morning and enjoyed a lawn chair this afternoon. Lawn chair was sinking into the mud. Ah spring.

Hold on now. That's only if *I* can take the photos. Scott can see a reproduction of the photos that *I* will draw with crayons.
 
Which I'm sure would include a crude drawing of a stick figure with huge boobs, LOL. ....wait a minute, I never agread to any of this!

Haha... Righto. Amazing that both of you have those crayon skills :D Though I figured with the whole aviation thing, she'd be more likely to go topless in something like the Stearman. :yes:
 
Thats the ONLY portrait any of you guys will be seeing! LOL Although, you guys are welcome to still hand over the Stearman. Theres usualy girls in bikinis down the street washing cars if you want anything close to that! haha!

I bet you guys are singing "its the most wonderfull time of the year" during the summer, haha.

It's not my fault that I picked that nude sunbather as my reference when I practiced turns around a point....

But I performed the maneuver poifectly!

If you go to florida, you can use the excuse that you were using the condo as a center point. I haven't seen it yet but I've heard stories about girls tanning nude on top. No wonder theres so many planes flying down the beach!

I just figured out why helicopters are more expensive, apparently they're in high demand, LOL.
 
Though I do like to keep abreast of things, I can't say I had that interesting of a day. It was 70deg here in Boone today so I just took the dogs for a long hike. Discovered a new trail which joins the Mountain-to-Sea trail. The leaves are still gone and the views were stellar.
 
I used to fly along Fernadina Beach during the summer... over the water, of course... at about two-hundred feet. I'm sure I didn't do anything more than the Viking or Orion Pilots did down there. It's a given the Seahawk pilots went a lot slower on course. :)

Reminds me of a story my dad used to tell me. He worked for Bell Helicopter, and caught a ride one day when they were taking two ships over from the Ft. Worth/Hurst plant to the test center in Arlington..we are talking a 5 minute flight at most. It took them an hour to get there.. he said something about circling a certain upscale well known neighborhood in Arlington admiring a very nice pool that just happened to have a very shapely nude woman sunbathing next to it. He also said it was also very interesting to watch the chief pilot chew out two pilot's butts when they finally made it to Arlington...after they got a call from some very unhappy residents of said sun bather. :D :yes:
 
I'm still trying to convince Tristan of the well known, proven, aviation statistic that it is safer to fly around with your clothes off. Could anyone please help me out here?
 
I fly naked all the time. Only problem is with leather seats when its hot and humid....

That oughta lean Tristan one way or the other (most likely towards never taking her clothes off again).

yea it was pretty nice today, had to taxi around with the door open to stay cool. thats how you know its summertime.

It's not much warmer (mid to high 80s) here in Florida but the water is a lot warmer than in Minnesota. When I left last Friday there was still plenty of ice on the lake and some snow on the ground despite the 60 degree temps. The water temp of lake I skied on today was between 75 and 80.

I fly naked all the time too. Underneath my clothes I am wearing nothing at all.
