Then you want a high-wing...
...on floats.
Then you want a high-wing...
no argument....on floats.
This one is my favorite as of right now = running the numbers to transforming her over to an IFR airplane. The avionics installer says get an equipment list and the operations and limitations to make sure that the aircraft isn't tagged a VFR airplane...and if it is tagged VFR..it will need to be rectified in Atlanta by the FAA?! Its a little worrisome looking at her blank panel - not even a VOR!?
no argument.[/QUOT

That is SO NICE! We are maybe going to go see it in the next couple of days - if everything checks out. Im working on not getting too attached to a bird - Ive had my heart broken twice this week already! It seems like when we find one, we need to move on it SUPER QUICK.this one is registered in NC. I only see one flight listed in flightaware back in November of last year. it looks like it might be based at KTTA. if so, when my plane gets out of annual I'd be happy to go take a look at it for you. you'd just need to tell me specifically what you want looked at, as I don't know the ins and outs of grummans. I'd just look at the basic stuff, if you wanted.
Just about all of them need ADSB chit - and then while you are in there - the G5s are super cool and one of them and a GTN650 will run the G500 autopilot..and the list goes on and on and on.. This plane has low hours and a good exhaust and it is priced nicely for a big avionics upgrade..if only we can get him to see the value of us showing love to the airplane that he has owned for 33 years and give us a huge discount so all of the sweet avionics can happen.. . The struggle of being underfunded in a rich persons world!!Personally I wouldn't bother with a plane that needed a bunch of avionics work. Your going to spend a fortune on it.
...We are maybe going to go see it....
Do that to me one more time.who's "we", you and Captain?
anyone get it? hello? is this thing on?

This is a GREAT lead! I had seen that one before but that was when the budget was smaller. Left a message - love the jag nose!
