This is pretty neat... Somehow, I'm betting someone here has or will try it.

At work we have about 100 cell phones and a popcorn machine.......going to try this one...

Something tells me that it took a bit more than just the cell phones. I am thinking some sort of strong microwave source was hidden below the table

I can't watch that clip as I don't have Windows Media player installed--but if that involves a cell phone popping popcorn--it is completely 100% fake. Sorry :)

Actually 3 cell phones popping popcorn. It is fake but I forget where I read it.

Jesse,

Just get Flip4Mac. No Windows Media necessary, and it actually works better too. In fact, it works enough better that MS gave up on doing any more WMP and just pointed to Flip4Mac and said "get that instead."

Looks like you have to pay. I have no real interest in paying to watch .wmv

If anyone is really interested, a microwave oven works by exciting the molecules in whatever is being radiated. The little critters, in their excitement, bump and rub against each other and that friction creates the heat that does the cooking. The 100 miliwatts transmitted by a cell phone isn't going to excite much of anything.

Well, since most consumer microwaves are 700 watts, all we need to do is figure out how to get 7,000 cell phones and one egg inside a metal box.

You just haven't gotten the phonecalls I have!
