How do you use this?

Pick the data you want to display. Hit "loop" and watch it progress. I look at it for long distance flying(as in East Coast to Egypt or Germany). Gives a good long range overview.

What are you looking for though? I dont understand what it is trying to tell me. all those colors and stuff. I figure winds and temps maybe, but I am confused. Must have some type of good purpose to be on the aviationweather.gov site??

Yep, shows clear air turbulence at different flight levels, in cloud turbulence, icing, wind speed, and cumulonimbus clouds.

Not really worth looking at if you are flying locally. Better to get more accurate and close to home forecasts.
