I would have gone with Red Dwarf myself. Anything except Enterprise.

At one point Rutan was talking about the SS1 design and how they were having a hard time making absolutely sure it would turn right side up for reentry. He said one night it occurd to him that a modified shuttlecock would always come back down in the proper orientation. So "Shuttlecock" would have been appropriate though it would probably scare the bejeebers out of potential pax.
 
IIRC another name for a shuttlecock in badmitten is "birdie" so they could have gone with "Big Birdie" or better yet "Big Burtie". Ironically "shuttlecock" is often shortened to "shuttle" but I guess that name's already taken in the context of space travel.
