View of Amsterdam Schiphol airport today

Today a repairman came in the house to fix a leakage in a pipe in the bathroom. The drilling in the concrete was such a noice that we had to escape this. We made a little flight over the Amsterdam Schiphol airport, to have a look to at the aircraft parked there because of the Coronavirus outbreak.

nice! the plane that's at Corendon Hotel, did they convert it into a restaurant or something?

The food kiosk opposite the entrance to Hilversum vliegveld does food so much (best Uitsmijter) better than the restaurant on the airfield, you really should try it (perhaps not their coffee).

Although sitting outside the restaurant on airfield you get awesome opportunity as the aircraft come over just about above you.

Mostly lawnmowers use the airfield other than a few Cessna/Cherokee and the glider towplane.

Use to work at Oude Meer abeam 36R where the KLM birds are now parked.

Cafe De Wink along the canal is well worth a visit, their broodjes are best. Steve Jobs had his yacht built just down the canal.
