My old Cherokee 140 could go 12K on a bad day. Not surprised a Dakota can do it, and I imagine it can go quite a bit higher. You can have your rocks.

When I first started renting that airplane it was N8438E, then the leaseback owner had it changed to something with his initials. It's an '82 model, built when new airplanes just had 2" registration marks, so the switch was easy.
I've seen recent photos of it, with its gorgeous new red paint.
