Urban Meyer [NA]

Some of us take kids with us because we want them to be introduced to society with their parents rather than on their own. And yes, we do need to be circumspect when they aren't behaving.

I have zero issue with kids in general if they behave. In addition, I likely should’ve clarified what I mean by “kids.” Teenagers or even well-behaved pre-teens? Just fine, even in an upscale restaurant. Toddlers and infants? Never as far as I’m concerned.

Family and “normal” restaurants? Not a problem regardless as long as parents police their kids.

If I’m paying 100+ just for the steak (plus drinks, plus sides, plus…), I’m there for a nice quiet dinner experience with my wife and/or friends…and I sure don’t want to listen to babies crying or toddlers whining.

Meh, that’s a bit unreasonable imo. They’ve got time for leisure just as much as the next guy, if not significantly more. Can’t expect them to be head down in the play books 24hrs a day.
If you think that, you are not familiar with the realities of the NFL.

I seriously doubt any children were present, and if there were, grind dancing didn't damage any of them. You will see this dancing at just about any bar in America on a busy Friday/Saturday night.
Yeah, no kidding! I’ve always thought it’s pretty stupid to shelter kids from mature subjects and such anyway. They’re going to learn about life one way or another. Give them the appropriate foundation to make wise decisions and that’s all you can do.

I also don't take my young children to bars and such where it would be of concern. Once my kids are in their teen years, they will likely have seen the same stuff at a school dance or party somewhere, so there's no use in hiding it at that point. Children under 10 don't really need to be out at 10pm or after when this sort of stuff starts to become a factor at a public restaurant. If I think it's becoming a problem, I'll pack them up and head out. Kids see WAY worse on YouTube/etc. these days.

Your thinking is very much like mine!

Firing vs not firing doesn't have anything to do with morality. It's about money. These are companies that make money selling advertising for shoes, insurance, potato chips, motor oil, etc. The game is just a means to an end. People that toss a bad light on that sometimes have to go. They can call the clause in the contract whatever they want, but it really means "thou shall not make us look bad", and it makes sense.

Urban Meyer is a clown. Always has been always will be. Anyone that has to act like the kind of idiot he does on the sidelines has no business in leading people, college, pro or otherwise. IMHO
Not to mention his need for stepping down for "health" reasons only to turn up coaching somewhere else = I got a new job offer I like better but don't have balls enough to move on like a man and just say I got a better offer I'm leaving. No we need to drum up all the publicity we can for poor Urban Meyer.

I fully get that, but in general women who work at strip clubs are working there voluntarily, and know what the job entails when they take the position.

You know this how, exactly? How many strippers do you routinely consort with? Human trafficking is up all over the world, and I'd not be even the least bit surprised if some of them made it onto the stages of strip joints. Probably others pimped by their husbands or boyfriends. I find the "they all do it voluntarily" to be simplistic at best.

I know of two, both who live in very nice apartments/homes, one of them who drives a nice new Lexus SUV and brags on how she bought it with "dumb guy dollars" lol.
