Un"Manned" KC-10 Refuels Combat Aircraft

This happens a lot, just not in the KC-10 (since there's only ONE engineer). Honestly, I'm still surprised this is news. It's a daily thing in Afghanistan for 130's, F-15E's, KC-135s...

I like girls.

I heard stories of Mideast pilots refusing to take the boom when they found the operator was female back in Desert Storm...ha.

So am I the only one who thinks along the lines of
"That nice but so what?"

I think I saw something similar a couple years ago. I thought it was positive then and still like it <g>

Best,

Dave

Agreed. It should be a complete non event.

The point is that women actually can do things like that. There are still way too many men out there that treat them like 8th class sub-citizens and brainwash them into believing it. It makes me violently ill to watch a women back away from something that's well within her ability simply because she's been told she can't do it over and over until she believes it. The only thing worse is the bastids that cause that kind of thinking in the first place.

Hopefully some of those snotty he-men are getting their butts shot out of the sky and blown to smitereens by women - serve them right. It would be fun making the tombstones for those guys...
