Technically, it was never an Unidentified Flying Object, as it is in an orbit, so it is in free-fall, so not "Flying" per se.

The sad part is....I think we, as species, just plain are not ready for first contact even if there are "others" out there and more advanced than us.

We would freak as a species, whole ideologies and religions would crumble, mass hysteria, panic....you name it. In the end, even if we had real proof, many would simply not believe it because they do not want to believe it.
 
Asteroid collision with patterns of dust and debris. Careful what you wish for, one of these millions of years ago sent a chunk of asteroid our way and killed off the dinosaurs.
 
A couple rocks bump into each other and make a mess yet people start weirding out over it.

Summary: As a whole we are no longer smart enough to bang two rocks together anymore without wondering what's going on.


Anyone get a good look at the moon the other day? There are circles on the surface and some actually have radial spokes coming from them that are obviously made my aliens trying to telling people here something. Sigh.

I think you are making that up. Everyone knows the alien bases are on the far side of the moon.

Is there an "Alien Base" on the Moon? More and more people are coming forward with stories that might prove this is true. Rumors say that there is an Alien Moon Base on the far side of the moon, the side we never see from Earth. Did you ever wonder why the Moon landings stopped and why we have not tried to build a Moon Base? It does seem like a better and easier idea than a floating space station with no access to any raw materials or supplies? According to the NASA Astronaut Neil Armstrong the aliens have a base on the Moon and told us in no uncertain terms to get off and stay off the Moon!
Sound far fetched? Milton Cooper, a Naval Intelligence Officer tells us that not only does the Alien Moon Base exist but the U.S. Naval Intelligence Community refers to the Alien Moon Base as "Luna," that there is a huge mining operation going on there, and that is where the aliens keep their huge mother ships while the trips to Earth are made in smaller "flying saucers".

It's just made up however I'm surprised the weirdo's haven't pounced on the patterns and made all sorts of new facts out of it.

I find it hilarious that all those people who have never been there thus haven't actually seen the other side know what's actually there. Hey, the moon could be hollow and we could be seeing the backside of a giant radio dish to communicate with their home planet.

I personally blame space aliens for all things strange that are not already claimed by one of the gods.
