I dunno how it could have been the "check-in system" when they said that outgoing planes were stacked in the penalty box and arrivals couldn't get gates, but I guess they could have not wanted to let empty jets roll out.

I remember the 2007 one when I was trapped on the runway for several hours waiting for the flapin' computers to process flight plans.

I think it is time for UAL to upgrade from the Commodore 64's they are using and maybe get a MAC or two.

Well, air travel must be on the rise. The DFW South Remote parking lot has had it's "FULL" sign on for most days the past two weeks, as I pass it driving to work... that's not been typical since late 2001.

It's this friggin' recession. Nobody travelling. Nobody spending money. Nobody on the roads.
