Thought I'd share two Colorado Front Range aviation events. Not involved - just an excited spectator-to-be.

This Saturday, June 22 - Longmont Airport Expo - http://www.lmoexpo.org/index.html [FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]Aerobatic performers, exhibition and judging of Antique and Classic planes, two museums, and even a jet car.(Looks like a drive-in, not a fly-in, unless you arrive before 0900 and depart after 1600.)

Friday, July 5, Saturday, July 6, and Sunday, July 7 - Fort Collins-Loveland Airport. http://www.collingsfoundation.org/cf_schedule-wof.htm The Collings Foundation B-17, B-24, and P-51 will be at the Fort Collins Jet Center. Fly for $425 on the B-17 or B-24, and walk-thru tours are $12 adults and $6 kids. WWII veterans are free.

I'm the webmaster for the Longmont Airport Expo and just wanted to say thanks for passing along the info for our event. It's a FREE event open to all and we expect to have a great time this year - lots to see and do and a whole slew of "cool" aircraft. So far we have 10+ aircraft signed up for the Colorado Aviation Historical Society's fly-in, but if anybody else wants to join, I'm pretty certain that you you can never have too many!

Honestly, the best place I've found for keeping up on Colorado flying events is actually the Colorado aviation photography Facebook group. They seem to get most of the events going on in the state posted to their calendar. I suppose I'm too new to know what PoA has to track events and how regular the upkeep might be.
