Twin engine crash off bahamas

Noticed a Piper Seneca crashed on the way back from Bahamas to Miami. Fortunately all three survived and had a raft. Must have lost both engines?

Huh... Losing two engines is really one of three things...

Fuel exhaustion, fuel contamination or really bad luck.

Glad they are all ok!

Well judging from the video recovering the wreck won’t be a problem to determine the cause

I wonder how deep the water is there? That clear water makes it difficult to tell the difference between 10’ and 100’ viewed from up above.

Don't know the answer to recovery cost. Plane isn't worth much after soaking in salt water for over 1 minute.

Sheesh, people have horrible nightmares trying to restore cars flooded by storm surge/hurricanes. Can’t imagine trying to restore equipment from a sunken airplane.
