Gmornin', I'm not too much into night time tv shows, but the other day I was flippin through bixtweenst the Weather Channel :yesnod: and news perhaps, but stopped at the TV show House because the background music was so cool. I left it there for a bit and the music genre reminds me of laid back soul blues sorta kinda thing-a-ma-jiggy. I think it's their typical genre after asking a couple of workmates, but don't know who or exactly what the music is. Does anyone watch house and know? I'd like to buy a CD of it.

Thanks!

Shane

Shamelessly stolen from another website.

"The theme song [for the U.S. broadcasts] is 'Teardrop' by the group Massive Attack ." and jupiter0225 posted that it was on the album Mezzanine."

Theme music

In North America (and some countries elsewhere) the opening theme of the series is "Teardrop" by Massive Attack.[29] "Teardrop" has lyrics, sung by guest vocalist Elizabeth Fraser of Cocteau Twins;[30] however, the version used in the opening credits uses only the beginning and ending sections, which are solely instrumental.[31]
Due to rights and licensing issues, in most countries a piece of music named "House End Credits" is used, which was composed specifically for the show by Jon Ehrlich, Jason Derlatka, and Leigh Roberts.[31] The satirical British television show Dead Ringers, which sometimes spoofs House, uses "Teardrop" for the spoof's opening theme.[32] "Teardrop" is also used in the season 2 region 2 and region 4 release, replacing the "House" theme at the beginning of the episode.
In the fourth-season finale, an acoustic version of "Teardrop" performed by José González (with lyrics) is heard during the episode as part of the background music.[31] The version was later made available as a free download via the music-sharing website Last.fm.[33]

Man you guy are good! I gave it a college try on Google and Clusty but ya'll are all over it. Thanks!

Some people have a gift for searching. It's the keywords that matter.
I can rebuild an IBM large scale mainframe, pre or post water cooling, but I can't get search phrases right to save me. Did I mention I'm tool inept too?

I've always been good at searching things....its what made me as good as I was in call centers. Almost every tech support center uses a knowledge database that is similar to google. So, for example, at T-Mobile, when someone would call, I'd convert their question into a search phrase:

Caller: My Blackberry is automatically deleting my text messages
Me: I'm so sorry
**Types into Primus**: Blackberry deletes SMS

Caller: My Windows Mobile device keeps locking up for minutes at a time
Me: Wow, that must be horrible
**Types into Primus**: Windows Mobile sluggish

Caller: My America Online will not log in, I keep getting to "Handshaking" and can't progress beyond that
Me: Ok, I can help you
**Types into Sherlock**: freezes step 5

etc.....2 of those from T-Mobile, the last from AOL. Comcast didn't have a knowledge database, but I was good enough with CATV and Cable Internet to never need one anyways :D

edit: I forgot - the secret to searching is to talk like a deaf person...that is, leave out articles

Instead of "What is the meaning of life"
Use: "Life meaning"

Instead of "why does my breath smell bad"
Use: bad breath

Instead of "How do I convert 32 degrees Fahrenheit to Celsius"
Use: 32F to C

Try starting here:
http://www.google.com/advanced_search?hl=en

Although I'm getting really miffed lately when I'm searching for product information that the first fricking TWO PAGES of results are scamming spider food landing pages. Google needs to find a way to weight the actual manufacturer's page first.
