TSA, USA, the AOPA, and the rest of us...

Give me a moment and I'll host it. The TSA can bite on my right armpit while fondling my left kneecap for all I care.

No need...just go to WikiLeaks.Org and you can find it pretty quick without a link.

Next post with politics closes the thread.

Where have the politics been? Certainly not referring to my posts about the TSA - a wholly aviation related non-partisan government agency....

I respectfully submit this is more pertinent and contains less vitriol (at least to POA members) than the Pirates thread

I think that the person who leaked the document may be in a lot of trouble.

Could be. And I can understand why AOPA would want to prevent discussion of the SD's contents on its own board, since they are in the process of trying to influence the TSA. However, since the leak occurred, it has been published world wide, and the rationale for preventing discussion of it elsewhere would make about as much sense as prohibiting people from talking about the Pentagon Papers after they were published in the New York Times.

The document is getting some attention in Congress, on both sides of the aisle. We'll see how that works out.
