Touchy Question

For someone who doesn't even know the correct terminology, you're chock-full of legal advice. The point you're missing is that if you don't know the FAA ramifications of the various possible outcomes with the NY legal sitation, you stand a very good chance of agreeing to something with NY that will hang you with the FAA.

Dude ! Are you kidding me ? That comment was a joke . Two things ; First , remove whatever is stuck up your behind . Second , ( Let me apologize for not knowing who is who around here ) , two posters , Arnold and Bruce C . gave good advise . Settle the issue first because the FAA may not even care . You and your Parrot Tim seem to think that the OP should do this backwards , go to the FAA first and report something he/she probably wont have to . In legal parlance that is whats known as stupid . I'm sorry but your objection is overuled on the grounds that your post is silly and argumentitive . Now go smoke a fatty and chill .

Actually, what Ron was recommending was to find ONE attorney to handle BOTH entities (The FAA and the State) but to focus on a solution that makes the FAA happy, since that's the one the OP was worried about.

Wilco.

But - is an attack personal when it's aimed towards an anonymous poster?

Tim , here is a better question to ask ; why make personal attacks in the first place ? Judging by your post count you seem to have alot to say ( Or you like to show everyone how much you know ) . Are all of YOUR posts accurate and relevant ? Is the aviation community a better place with your passing of judgement on others ( Yes I am a regular here and I have noticed this is not the first time you have resorted to name calling ) . Something to think about . God Bless .

If you are a regular here why are you posting unregistered? You aren't the one with the drug arrest problem.

"Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain."

I really don't think it matters if the person is known to us or unregistered. Look at what they are saying, disagree if you want, but keep it respectful IMHO.

Good point, and I'll try.

The problem with "unregistered" regulars replying to "unregistered" OPs is that it's not possible to figure out whether the post is from the original poster - who did have a problem with drugs (not the same thing as a drug problem) or someone else.

It appeared to me that the post that set me off was from the OP, and I just got annoyed that someone would come in and ask for advice then get hostile to someone who was giving good advice.

But looking back, perhaps it was just one of the Ron-haters hiding behind the cloak of anonymity.

Plus I thought the point of unregistered posters in the Medical forum was to protect the OP not the commenters unless, perhaps, the commenter had a similar condition they would rather not reveal in public.

Well, it's not possible for you and I, but the mods can track who it is by the IP address most of the time.

Thread closed. Too many personal attacks.
