Yes, Ken: my garage.
My Porsche is smaller then the car it replaced so that's my justification!

yea but driving it back and forth to iowa and minneapolis to see the parents would get pretty darn expensive...
.... Which makes it easier to justify buying an airplane instead.![]()
we do about half of our trips in flying club planes but for the holidays its not worth paying the extra for taking a plane for 2 weeks plus having the uncertainty of winter weather in the midwest.
as long as i can rent a 430W 172 (65/hr) and 182RG (120/hr) there is no way i can afford to own something with an engine
If you feel you have too much stuff then you could always regift it to someone that doesn't. Tis the season!
Ahh, but you've got it all wrong. "Afford" is different than "Justify." You can't financially justify owning (nobody can!) but you can afford it - And the justification is in your first paragraph.
I'm kidding, of course - You have a sweet setup - As do I. Doesn't keep me from wanting to own, or trying to. Sigh.

If you have a hard time just "giving away" your junk, you could always just trade it for better junk from someone else!
What's your address? I've got a 700 lb boat anchor of a Jaguar V12 I've been trying to get out of my basement. No, it doesn't work.![]()
Ok, I'll go for that, but I don't want anything in return! There you go! That's a good idea! Maybe we should have a sub-forum just to trade away all the stuff that's too good to throw out, but no longer has any use?
