If I was about 10 years younger and no wife/kids, I'd be on this like stink on a turd.
 
I'd rather have Dave's job and fly a c172 around ak less cargo to load.:D
 
Very True, Skyped with my son yesterday from Bahrain. Been underway a lot in a CS ship. Several weeks at a time. I fired up the Nightster so he could see and hear it, he smiled.

Eh, I don't wanna live in Alaska. Plus, pilot job opportunities on craiglist seem a bit sketchy.

I was young and went to Alaska chasing a dream. I found it. I have no regrets and highly recommend it. About 2 weeks in the Wrangell-St Elias national park during the off season should be required for every male in the US. Not to mention I was in my early 20's banking a 1/4 mil per year. I got my job off craigslist.

What were you doing?
 
I was told early-on: If you want to fly an airplane, make lots of money and buy an airplane. That way you can fly a nice airplane when you want. Otherwise, you'll be flying a crappy airplane when someone else wants...
 
I shot them an email. We'll see what they say.

I'm sure it's been filled already...
 
One of our pilots had 1500 hours flying for them.
 
Does the name Desert Air Transport seem odd in Anchorage?:dunno::D
