Does Time in Type for Insurance purposes include all variations of a particular model of aircraft?
For example would flying in an Aztec D count toward time in type for getting insurance in an Aztec F?

I'm not sure about your example, but within the club I used to be in, time in PA28R-200 didn't count for the PA28R-180. They wanted 10 hours in that plane. (Not even model dependent).

About a month ago, I was called to see if I knew any CFI that had Fairchild 24 time, that could ferry a f-24, I did't.

Insurance coverage for this type of old aircraft is becoming a problem.
