Time for the Checkride!!!

Next Tuesday (14th) my checkride is scheduled. Did my mock oral today, and CFI does not see any issues there. Still have an occasional issue with short field and soft field landings (at least to my personal standards), but did a few today and all would have passed. CFI told my doing the maneuvers again would be a waste of my money, and I have never had issue with them. He then singed my logbook, and told me how to register online. We are planning to go up right before the ride to calm my nerves, and knock off any final rust.

As a fun thing, flew over to the grandparents airport (my dad is a pilot) and picked up my kids for their first small plane flight, with the instructor in the right seat. Nice way to "finish" training.

Knock out another day or so of practice on your landings and maneuvers for good measure and you will do fine!

Good luck.

Get some rest prior to your practical test, and eat sensibly. You're ready for it, so that will be much more constructive than any last minute cramming you don't really need.
