Thought i share these Airplane models (Handmade)

Like myself, my father is a aviation enthusiast. He started making these models years ago (trying to get him to teach me how to make them). Just thought i share.

All of these are handmade from a block of wood. Man has got some skill i give him that.







This one is my Favorite. I told him to make me a Erich Hartmann ME-109 with the black Tulip nose.









 
Wow! Excellent craftsmanship. Kudos on the beautiful handiwork.
 
That's amazing. How long did it take for him to carve and paint such beauties? Seems like this must have been a life long avocation...
 
All depends. The ones painted takes about 2-3months. Just a Block of wood and a Dremel.

Trying to get him to make me a Fokker DIII :)
 
Beautiful workmanship. I don't think that I would have the patience to do that, let alone the talent.
