Oh the drama!

The suspense!

Who will be the next................American Idle? It starts TONIGHT!



I love the begining performances that are disasters and train wrecks!!
 
I have never watched or followed it at all and I still have no interest in it. About the only reality show I watch is Deadliest Catch.
 
Hmmm was Idle[sic] an itentional misspelling????:?

I completely agree with Scott ... on these two points.
 
Idol is, IMHO, a lot like Seinfeld, a waste of time and brain cells.

However, for those who like it, enjoy the new season!
 
I lovde watching the ones that think they are awesome get told they suck. So, I watch it for like the first five weeks or so. Its the only thing but the big bang theory that I watch on network tv well for five weeks.


And how could you not like seinfeld?

+1 Good character development, continuing story line that is easy to follow, stories about every day nothing, what's not to like?:dunno:

I want to go to Alaska some day soon - but the Bering Sea is not where I'd like to start. Those boys have stones, but the real brass ball owners are the pilots, rescue swimmers, and crew of the US Coast Guard that fly their helicopters out there.
 
Yea I watch Idle. Not afraid to admit it. I find almost all drama tv dull & boring. If it wannt fiction I'll read a book. Other than 2 1/2 Men, reality type shows get played in my house. pass time , big Brother Surviver, & dancin" YEA I get to see scantily clad young dancers, don't have to stuff bills in their clothes, & my wife is watching with me!I cannot figure out why every married guy doesn't like Dancin'? Dave

No kidding my CRM instructor had just come down from AK where he was flying the Jayhawk and had some great stories.
 
I like to watch my A-65 idle, but I haven't been able to find it on TV.

Don't even have a funtioning TV in my house these days.
 
You do mean American Idol, right?

Never watched it. Never understood the appeal. I tend to overestimate the intelligence of the American people, so I always think dumb stuff like this will fail. I figured that Dancing with the Stars would be off the air in a week. I think it's been on for a couple of years.

THe only show I watch on regular TV is Lost. That's wrapping up this season and I don't see anything else on the horizon worth watching. No worries - my wife DVRs so many Food Network shows there's never a lack for programming. Strangely, I have to watch FN, but she will never sit and watch Military Channel with me.

LOL! Amazing how that has caught on nationwide. The only way I find American Idol watchable is by being a Worster (Vote For The Worst). Yes, I am partially responsible for Sanjaya. :rolleyes:

I enjoy watching the first episodes as well because it is just so hilarious what some people do to get the attention of the judges and their antics, pretty hilarious stuff!
 
I heard American idle while in the takeoff queue at Charlotte Douglas over Christmas. Quite the conga line with our little baron in the middle. <g>

Don't watch the TV show.
