This guy is nuts/has the biggest set ever

what ever happened to guns? or harpoons? or anything besides jumping into a pool with a shark?

Give me a break...that was nuts, crazy, and unnecessary.

First, while I give kudos to his balls being bigger than his brains, he did say it was injured, so we have no idea how badly and what that did to the capabilities of the shark.

Second, it was confined, it could not do its normal attack routine.

Third, why kill the shark? The net was already screwed up...are tuna that damn important that they could not cut the net and let the shark out? Even the guy admits it is an endangered animal. Hell the only reason the shark could have made him "extinct" was because he jumped into the stupid net with the shark.

I find it disgusting and a shame.
 
As my little dog said to me one day: "Looks really dangerous, you go first."

The guy is a one bite snack for that thing. No way, no how. No amount of tuna justifies that risk. That's suicidal behavior IMNSHO.

They shot it umpteen times. Finally it was so messed up he was able to swim up and tie a rope onto it. What's the big deal?

I think someone needs to take a healthy great white in a large tank and toss this guy in here and let him actually fight one if he wants to brag about killing a very very injured creature.

Yes, they are that important and valuable. Margines in the industry are not that high. One good set can make the difference between a profitable season and a loss.
