Thermostasis oil thermostat

My Rotax 912 ULS equipped with an oil cooler and a Thermostasis oil thermostat. Seems to be running very warm, 115-120°C, shortly after take off in the climb, under 5000 RPM it will lower around 100c. Could this oil thermostat not be working properly And just bypassing the oil cooler?Does anybody have any experience with this unit? Thank you in advance

I just removed the Thermostasis oil thermostat and joined the respective hoses together with a pair of 3/8 inch couplings to return to stock configuration for oil hose routing. Temperatures only Rose until yellow at 113°C, but came down to 100°C for normal flight.

It would seem that your thermostat is just fine. What does your POH or engine operator's manual say?

Correct, my water thermostat is fine. This is an oil thermostat made by Thermostasis and is an add-on unit. When I took it out the thermostat was stuck halfway open which was allowing the oil to flow through the shortest path and bypassing the oil cooler which caused my high temperatures. Thanks for the updated data sheet.
