Anyone else with little ones around watching this show?

It's cute, creative, and Ming-Ming is a pilot! (Sorta -- she's a duck that usually wears an aviator helmet that sometimes uses her power of flight to help the animal in twouble)

If you haven't watched yet -- the three classroom pets fly off to different locations to "Save an animal in twouble somewhere..."

The three use teamwork to figure out how to help the baby animal get unstuck form whatever predicament.

Each show uses a different musical genre, but there is a base opera motif, with several hilarious recitatives.

My 16-month old grandaughter shouts "YAY!" whenever someone sings the Wonder Pets Theme Song.

Maybe that's why I like the show!:D

Lenny, Tuck, and MingMing Too, da da da

What's Gonna Work, Team Work, What's Gonna Work, team Work...

LOL,.. Yes, my daughters had watched it often, and still do sometimes. They are 4 1/2 now and into Dora and Diego too. The other night, I wasn't able to get in the house as Allison moved the little latch on the screen door. 'Habre Daddy',... ?? What I said,... "Habre".??? Say Habre"...

Ok,.. "Habre". and she let me in. Found out after I'm inside that Habre is spanish for "open":D

That's too cute...

When Ming-Ming was asked why the baby crane couldn't fly away from the Volcano (which is " a mountain filled with stuff that's-too-hot-to touch!"), she replied: "because she haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas stubbywings."

Some shows are beyond inane, but so far the Wonder Pets have remained preach-free, calm, and comfortably predictable.

We'll stop watching when the Wonder Pets "Save the planet!" or some such...

The phone the phone is ringing

No my daughter does not watch them she loves that little bald kid Caillou.

Ugh. Caillou. I want to kill him.

My kids are too old for Wonder Pets. I wish they had been around a few years ago.

But Caillou? Ugh.

+1 LOL

Ever see that show "Barnyard" or something... it's actually pretty funny with some of the things they do. Working on a farm growing up, I could imagine some particular pigs fitting this show.

I recorded one episode to see it.

It's interesting that they use pictures and animate them, making them look live. They also obviously can reuse footage for 50% or more of an episode.

I'm sure it's a perfect show for toddlers that love repetition. It's semi-not repetitious with just enough variation in the "mission."

BUT if you actually can sit through even hearing two of these every day my hat is off to ya.

Ooops. Now my TiVo thinks I'll like stuff like this so I'm doomed. Gotta remove the thumbs up from it.

I liked the different musical styles when my daughter was watching it. Then she moved "up" to WordWorld, and now (at six) is really into Scooby Doo. That's fun for dad too as they're still showing the same episodes of Those Meddling Kids.
