I love that Wx resource. I find it very accurate.

Yup. It actually uses data from the GFS MOS forecasts and just makes them look pretty. As I understand it, that's the same data that's used to generate TAFs, but it goes out to 3 days and is available for most airports that have a METAR, not just a TAF.

It's about as good of a forecast as you can get for flying prior to when the TAFs and FAs start coming out.
 
Well, I'm glad I picked MTO in Matoon IL as a stop. I got in before the big storm and im sitting it out in a reaaly nice restruant having wings. The gas wss high but id rather only stop once for food and fuel. Looks like I'll be here for about two hours.
 
The weather for KOSH looks great today, light W to SW winds. Just another example of how things can change from a 5+ day out forecast.
