I go to Wakefield for fuel. They usually have the best prices in the area.
Cheddars has gotten better. It had really gone downhill for a while. Don't know what was going on but they seem to have corrected the problem... PHF is a nice airport, not to sure about the snakes running the place, but it's sleepy enough that the military / gov't use it for approaches. You can see AF1 there from time to time. So when they take over I head to Franklin to play... Most of the time I'm the only plane in the pattern when I'm there. Where are you based?

I am out of RDU... I didnt like wakefiled as an overnight location. They dont have tie downs. never pumped fuel from there. Franklin seems like a better option. Both airporst are equidistant from Zuni. Just ones off 460 the other off 258.I go to Wakefield for fuel. They usually have the best prices in the area.
Yeah, it's pretty sleepy at Wakefield but I do like Franklin it's just to bad they closed the other runway.

Side note: my parents bought one of these from a mall store when I was in my teens. Apparently it's from some kind of Pepsi promotion.
The first week was rough. I'd walk out of my room and grab a bowl of cereal, turn around and see a 7 foot tall jar jar binks in my living room and throw my cereal bowl into the ceiling! His dead, soulless eyes. Watching. Peering. Staring.
