Vintage Snazzy (so my adult children say)
My luck I would be approved for something like 6000 - 6100.
Haha. I would've had to divert otherwise. Or cancel and go VFR. I did get 0.1 of IMC but temp at 4k was 36 at that point. I was able to help give pireps to another aircraft heading south along my same route so hopefully I helped him successfully avoid the ice. He was initially at 7.5k.My luck I would be approved for something like 6000 - 6100.
Yum. If I weren't still feeling stuffed from the Superbowl, I might be feeling hungry right now. This is called the Motherclucker chicken sandwich, a big thick tender juicy fried chicken breast with bacon and cheese. It was mothercluckin good!

I’ve always wondered how awful of a pilot I am for other pilots…I've come to realize that flying with another pilot in the right seat is somewhat like a foursome when golfing.
So as long as he's annoying and not dangerous, as PIC, it's good not to get into a heated argument or num-chuks while flying. Make your requests "don't do that" politely and clearly. You complete the flight and make a mental note of what to expect - and decide if you fly with this guy again, and if so have a refresher discussion on "don't touch that".
- Some guys / most / are there because they enjoy the game, the social outing, enjoying some conversation, etc. Are glad to help when asked.
- Others see every moment as God's gift to them to teach others how to swing better, approach the hole better, and of course follow every rule known and unknown to the letter of the law.
- They'll plug in the radio frequencies without asking - kind of like pulling a club from your bag and handing it to you.
- You use the Moving Map and not the Default View? We will surely die.
Commercial single… checkride is next week. Multi add on will come later.@kaiser Multi or commercial (or both)?

Rental. It was even worse at cruise varying from 2300-2700 but it was a bit bumpy so the video ended up being a bit too shaky.bad tach cable?
They exist, apparently during windows of time between building a tower and getting the weather observations up and running. I found a thread on aviation.stackexchange about this with a list from last year to include KJYO, KPCA, and KTNX. Of those, the first one looks like the weirdest to me.There exists - somewhere - a control tower in E airspace. Something about having to establish communication at 4 miles and under 2500 AGL. I had no idea that was even a possibility.

There are also towers in G. 91.126 & 91.127 tell ya all about itThere exists - somewhere - a control tower in E airspace. Something about having to establish communication at 4 miles and under 2500 AGL. I had no idea that was even a possibility.
There are also TWO towers in G SOMEWHERE. 91.126 & 91.127 tell ya all about it
I said towers. Not a tower. Anyway, there’s the one in Arizona. The other is another Army base I think. Where is that?FIFY
What if it's a temporary tower that they put up for firefighting operations? If it has a tower - make it D. No tower? E or G. Eh / I’m sure it was just an oversight that they didn’t see my e mail with my opinion before setting it up the way they did.
Easy - Class "F"What if it's a temporary tower that they put up for firefighting operations?
Should have just gotten the upgrade to comfort plus/first/DeltaONE and called it good! lolIn order to avoid the ice storm in the midwest, we (co workers) changed our travel from Thursday to Wednesday. I am both amused and annoyed that changing to the same Delta flight on Wednesday cost a penny less. Now I have a 1 cent electronic flight credit, which I will have to used at some point in the future to avoid having accounting crawling down my neck.

Why would you give your FF miles to your company? If I were in your shoes, I'd leave it there just to mess with accounting.
waaaaay back when, I used my frequent flyer miles for a business trip to see if it would mess with accounting. Sadly, it didn't. nuts.
Why would you give your FF miles to your company?
well, my attitude was (and still is) that the miles should belong to the person who paid for the trip.
I realize that very few people would agree and it is pretty much unenforceable. And companies pretty much don't claim them.
Having a tower isn't enough to make it a D. D's are Surface Areas. There has to be Certified Weather Observation. Not just any ol' Tower Controller can do that. Same for E Surface Areas. Certified Weather Reporting is required. If the requirements to have a Surface Area are met, and a Surface Area is established, it's going to be a D if a Tower goes in. If the requirements are not met, there is not going to be Surface Area. It will be a Tower in Class G. I can't think of a scenario where there will be a Tower in Class E. Maybe I'm not thinking hard enough. If it has a tower - make it D. No tower? E or G.
