Your first post is my SOP, too. Gin Martini's for Summer cocktail hour, Manhattan's (or just Jack or Bourbon) in Winter

IMO, Sapphire and Hendricks are great "savory" gins and go great with olives. Tanq seems more citrus-y to me and does better in a G&T or Gin-Lemon-Seven.
