As hated as they are in the car world, the 4.6 2V on the 90s and early 2000s Mustang GT’s sounded amazing with SLP pipes on it.
I used to have a '92 Lincoln Town Car, 2nd year of the 2V 4.6. I cut out the stock exhaust and put on a pair of giant Magnaflow mufflers. No cats. Because of the muffler size it had the Magnaflow sound on a 4.6 but it was pretty quiet, appropriate volume for a Town Car.
The response it got when people heard the car start up and rode in it was pretty hilarious. Everyone couldn't figure out why Ford hadn't done that from the factory.
