The big draw at EAA for 2011

They're celebrating Naval Aviation... I think it would be cool if they'd park a carrier in lake Michigan and let some of us do touch and goes....

Or if nothing else they ought to set up a tailhook rig like the ones featured at exotic ports of call where drunken aviators slide along a wire or set of tracks and try to stop themselves by catching the three wire before ending up in a pool of (usually smelly or stagnant) water.

Aaron Tippin and the world’s only flying B-29—the CAF’s renowned FiFi.
They will also have a Navy Day, which will feature naval aircraft from the past 100 years.

AOPA also says the twin mustang will be completed and flying then and at Osh.

They're going to have a tribute to Burt Rutan, now that he's announced his retirement.

I wonder who the band will be. Would be GREAT if they got Jimmy Buffett!

Tribute to Burt Rutan one day.

Tribute to Bob Hoover one day.
