Just got off the phone with my 150 crash victim. He's doing well and will be leaving the trauma center this week. But will return occasionally for continued treatments.
Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes.
The 150 had a fuel flow problem, and had this same thing happen 2 weeks prior and the A&P at the field could find no problem, and it had no problems for 2 weeks, then this.
Carb heat was used as it should have been, tanks were full .3 prior to the accident. and there was fuel in them as the EMT response team arrived.
Engine was making partial power when it hit the trees.
NTSB inspection the 15 we are waiting to see what they find.
