Just to prepare you for your new royal overlords, when used in this context, it's "the Crown", and should be capitalized.

That changed when the clowns started appearing on late night TV pandering for votes or pushing their own agendas. Frankly, THEY diminished the office of the president with their childish behavior. I would much rather hear of rumors of their sexual conquests in the oval office than see them on TV again!

Re; TFR's. File a D-VFR flight plan and execute it. Every pilot should take the opportunity to do so. Even IF they do not go flying.
